This Policy applies to the app promotion services provided by the TheAppStarter platform (the "Platform", "we", "us" or "our", website: theappstarter.com), including but not limited to all features and processes such as creating promotion orders, AI-generated promotional copy, promoters accepting and executing promotion tasks, and submission and review of publishing screenshots.

By registering, signing in or using any service of the Platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Policy. This Policy does not apply to personal information collected and processed independently by third parties when you are redirected to third-party websites or services through the Platform.

When you use the Platform, we collect the following information only to the extent necessary to provide our services:

• Account information: The email address you provide when registering or signing in, verification code records, and the nickname and avatar you subsequently set.
• Order information: The app name, App Store link or app store ID, requirement description, order amount and payment status submitted when you create a promotion order, as well as the app icon, description, screenshots, developer name and developer ID that the Platform obtains from the app store based on that link in order to display the order and generate promotional copy.
• Task and submission information: Promotion task copy, screenshots published by promoters, and submission and review records.
• Device and log information: IP address, browser type, access time, etc., used for security and risk control.

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Email code sign-in and registration: Sending verification codes to your email to complete identity verification and account creation.
• Order and task processing: Creating, displaying and tracking your promotion orders and task status.
• Task distribution and execution: Providing task information (including app information and generated promotional copy) to promoters or automated programs to complete content publishing.
• Payment and settlement: Working with payment service providers to complete order payment and settlement.
• AI-generated promotional copy: Generating promotional copy through AI services based on the app information you submit.
• Customer support: Responding to your inquiries, feedback and complaints.
• Security and anti-fraud: Identifying abnormal sign-ins, traffic fraud and other risky behavior to keep the Platform secure.
• Legal compliance: Retaining and providing relevant information as required by laws and regulations.

The Platform only uses cookies or local storage necessary for functions such as maintaining your sign-in state and remembering essential interface preferences. We do not use advertising tracking cookies, and we do not use cookie information for cross-site advertising.

Following the principle of minimum necessity, we share necessary information with the following infrastructure providers only when required to provide our services:

• Payment service providers (Creem / Stripe): Processing order payments and settlement.
• Email delivery service (Resend): Sending sign-in verification codes and other notification emails.
• AI copy generation service (DeepSeek): Generating promotional copy.

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the above, we may share your information only in the following exceptional circumstances: with your explicit consent; when required by laws, regulations, or mandatory requirements of judicial or administrative authorities; or when necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of the Platform or other users.

Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure. We protect your information through HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege measures and other security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or loss. We retain your information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including the duration of your account and any retention periods required by laws and regulations.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal information, withdraw your consent to its use, and close your account. You may contact us at support@shenzhiyan.cn to exercise these rights, and we will handle your request within a reasonable period.

The Platform provides services to adult developers and promoters. Minors may not register for or use the Platform. If we discover that we have collected personal information of a minor, we will delete it as soon as possible.

This Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through on-site announcements or update notices on the page. The updated Policy takes effect on the date of publication, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
